Dinosaur Maths Mania in ReceptionPosted on 15/11/2019
We compared the lengths of dinosaur teeth by lining them up next to each other and then we put them in order from the shortest to the longest. After that, we measured the length of each tooth using cubes (non-standard units). Some children were able to say how much longer one tooth was than another - we were finding the difference! The children were fascinated by the giant ruler on the screen, we learnt how to measure in cm. Remember, one end of the item being measured must be lined up with the zero on the ruler!
