Dahl Year 5 Class

Welcome to Year 5!  We hope you have had a fabulous and relaxing summer break. This year will bring lots of exciting new topics to learn about and the children have already begun by sharing their current knowledge and what they want to know more about - we are super impressed with their eagerness to learn!

The structure of the school day will remain the same for KS2 with a 'soft start' between 8:30-8:45am and will finish at 3:20pm, please ensure you are here on time to collect your child from the school playground.

Each child will have a new link book to use as a communication tool between parents and teachers. Please use these books to inform us of any appointments, change of adult collecting your child, minor issues and concerns or any other business concerning your child.

Children will have a reading book to take home daily. The blue Reading Response books can be used to record any comments if you have heard your child read.

We look forward to a year of fun and exciting learning with you.
