Police Dog Handler
Posted on 06/10/2017On Monday, we had a police dog handler come into assembly. He taught us about how animals are taught and their instinct behaviours. We then heard about his career of 30 years in the police as a dog handler and how he now works at Luton Airport with a search dog.
We wanted George the labrador indicate on a bag, he picked the right bag using his nose and he then got to have a play with his toy, this was his reward for finding the scent. After assembly, Dahl class welcomed the Police Dog Handler into our classroom. He answered our questions and then we went to his van, where we saw the blue lights and we got to ty on his body armour. It was lots of fun!
