Volunteering in School

We pride ourselves on having strong, productive relationships with our parents/carers  and actively welcome them into school as volunteers as we know they bring with them a range of skills and experience that can enhance the learning opportunities of our children. 

Have you got what it takes, time, energy, commitment, patience to help children with their reading, writing or maths at Harpenden Academy.

Are you free to provide some support in the classrooms which might range from filing, to helping the children with art work?

Do you enjoy encouraging and supporting young children and contributing to their learning?

If so we would like to hear from you.  We welcome applications from all areas of the community and not only from parents and carers of children of Harpenden Academy.

Please speak to the office if you have some spare time on a regular basis to help out in a variety of childrens' classes.
