Milne Year 4 Class

Welcome to year 4 Milne class!

I am very excited to being a key part of the children's learning journey this year!

We are going to have an excellent time in year 4, full of lots of fun and new learning opportunities for the children.

In Milne class, we encourage teamwork, self-belief and the development of autonomous learning. We also take the time to embrace diversity and creativity. All of this helps us educate the hearts and minds of the children.

In the mornings, we will focus on English and Maths, developing those fundamental life skills. In the afternoons, we spend time on other subjects within the curriculum. This may include conducting science experiments, learning how to keep fit and healthy or learning how to express we through music. Some of our topics include: Shang Dynasty, Transport, Rivers, Electricity.

Children will need their own pencil case next year. Please ensure children have pencils,  green pen, colouring pencils, a ruler, a pencil sharpener, child-friendly scissors, a glue stick and a whiteboard pen.

Please also ensure that your child brings in a named water bottle. Your child may also bring a healthy snack to have during break time.

I am looking forward to an excellent year!
