Milne Year 4 Class

Welcome to Milne Class! We have an exciting year ahead with a range of learning opportunities for the children. In Milne Class, we encourage independent learning through the power of resilience and growth mindset.

Our morning is filled with and English and Maths developing skills the children will need to become lifelong learners. Afternoons will be spent on our creative curriculum, again linking our learning to our topic. Our topics this year will be 'UK & Europe, Trade and Transport, No Place like Home.'

We will have the opportunity to take part in some exciting Science investigations and this term our skills focus will be planning.

Wherever possible we will find opportunities to be active, to keep our minds and bodies healthy and we will have a chance to go swimming this year.

Children will need their own pencil case next year. Please ensure children have pencils,  green pen, colouring pencils, a ruler, a pencil sharpener, child-friendly scissors, a glue stick and a whiteboard pen.

If you wish to, please send your child with a healthy snack to have during break time. Also, please ensure that a named water bottle is brought in daily.

We look forward to seeing you grow as independent learners. We have lots of fun to educate the children's hearts and minds.
