Thank you for HA supporting the charity, Kings Pantry, to provide presents for children
Posted on 30/01/2020I received a lovely letter from John Swain, Elder of The King’s Pantry charity, who we support at Harvest time but also Year 6 support at Christmas with providing Christmas gifts for families in Harpenden District.
The letter is below and really shows the generosity of our children and parents. All too often it is easy to forget what a giving and supportive school we are with very giving parents. Thank you to children and parents—it makes me very proud to be your Headteacher.
“I am writing to pass on the many "thank you's" that we received from our clients that were really blessed by the Christmas gifts that your staff and parents donated to our Kings Pantry (food bank) and Link (befriending) families.
The parents in many cases were overwhelmed by both the generosity and suitability of the children's toys which really contributed to giving them a happier Christmas than they expected.
On behalf of myself, our teams and our clients please accept a massive thank you all for your amazing generosity. It is really appreciated. Please would you pass on our thanks to the rest of the staff, pupils and parents. “
