Ladybirds have been creating their own “first, then and now” maths stories using a tens frame. They used the counters to represent the marbles Monkey had put in the jar. It was great to hear them using the sentence stems to retell their number story. pic.twitter.com/kpuQjpN2dV

Reception Admissions Sept 2021 - View our School Virtual Tour

Posted on 04th Nov 2020

Dear Reception Parents

Due to the recent Government announcement regarding the Lockdown it is with reluctance and regret that we have made the decision to cancel the Reception live tours during the Lockdown period.

In an ideal world we would have liked to welcome you into school so that you had the opportunity to meet our wonderful staff and children face to face, to see the amazing quality of work and the enthusiasm and creative learning that is taking place.

Unfortunately we have been advised that we are unable to invite new visitors into school however we have produced a virtual tour that we hope delivers an informative view of our school. The virtual tour is presented by our Headteacher, Mrs Davies, who guides you around our school. You will visit our EYFS teaching team and our current Reception class, you will be introduced to key members of staff, see some of our children at work and play as well as get a good oversight of our school building both internally and externally. You will even meet our school dog, Rosie Red!

We hope you enjoy our virtual tour – please click here to access the tour.

Our plan is to reschedule the live tours and add additional dates in December IF the Lockdown is lifted. Please check the school website for any updates

If you have any queries then please do not hesitate to contact our office team by email on office@harpendenacademy.co.uk or by phone on 01582 716910.

We wish you all well and we are here to help you with any admission queries.

Kind regards

Mrs Davies
