Remembrance Assembly, 9th November 2018

Thank you all for coming to our Remembrance Assembly this year. It was wonderful to welcome the Mayor of Harpenden, Mayor David Heritage, to our school and for him to participate in our Remembrance Assembly. Thank you to Elliot G in Year 6 and to Zac Smith from Sir John Lawes, Year 10 for playing ‘The Last Post,’ and to Rev Dennis Stamps from St Nicholas’ Church for conducting the 2 minute silence. We also had a welcome visit from John Swain from the Kings’ Pantry charity and a member of the public, Mr Neil Watson, who was moved by the children selling their Remembrance items in the street and popped in to participate in the service.
