Dulwich Art Gallery

Posted on 27/02/2018

On Wednesday Year 6 braved the ‘Beast of the East’ and travelled (via several trains and tubes!) to Dulwich Art Gallery for a wonderful David Milne art workshop and tour of the art gallery.  The trip links to our North America topic as the artist was Canadian and painted American and Canadian landscapes.  The children were so engaged in both sessions and we learnt lots about perspective, complementary colours, dazzle spots and more!

We were all very proud of our growth mindset in finding alternative travel routes due to broken down trains and snow-related cancellations.

We will be setting up an exhibition for you to view our art work later this term so watch this space!
