Christmas Card Design Competition - Harpenden Academy winners

Christmas Card Design Competition 2022 - Results

The theme of this year’s competition was ‘Festive Fun with Furry Friends’.  The Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor were delighted to receive so many fun and colourful entries and found it very difficult to choose the winner! 

The Town Mayor, Councillor Lisa Scriven, and the Deputy Mayor, Councillor John Drake, have looked at all the entries and the winner and runners up have been chosen for 2022.  We are delighted that Adam Cheng from Harpenden Academy was the overall winner of the competition. In addition, Lea Cheng also received Commended!

 Both Adam and Lea attended an award ceremony at the Town Hall on Monday where Adam was presented with £100 donation cheque for us being the winning school.

As the overall winner, Adam is invited to switch on the Christmas Lights in the High Street at the Christmas Carnival on Sunday 27 November 2022.  He is also invited to turn on the lights in Southdown on Friday 2 December 2021. Adam’s winning design will also be used as the Town Mayor’s Christmas card this year.  

What an amazing achievement! We are very proud of you both. Very well done.
