Today Ladybirds have been exploring the different spatial patterns to represent the number 3. We enjoyed describing them in our carpet session then recreated our own using stickers during our child-initiated learning. 🐞 pic.twitter.com/MKPLyPdsE5

Photography Project Lockdown

Posted on 08/02/2021

We are all in strange times when it is easier to look inwards rather than outwards, so in an attempt to re address the balance we have launched our own photography project which can run for the length of Lockdown.

During this time we would like the children- and parents if you are so inclined- to join with us and notice the world around us. Luckily, we are still allowed out of our houses for a walk once an day so please grab your camera/ phones and capture your world.

We have split the project in to 3 categories: Country and Urban Landscapes, Nature and its Patterns and Still life inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.

This is purely voluntary and there is no expectation to take part so please don’t feel we are increasing your work load.

If you do decide to join in please email your photos for the school office and we can share them in the newsletter.

At the end of lockdown we will aim to make an exhibition of the photos and ask a representative of a photography club to come give us their feedback on what we have managed to create.
