Well, we made it – coughs and sneezes haven’t stopped us from getting to the end of the long autumn term.

This week we have seen the Irock Christmas concert on Tuesday, the lovely trip to the Odyssey Cinema in St Albans on Wednesday and festive Christmas lunch on Thursday.

There is very little to say except thank you to all our families for a really successful first term. We appreciate your time and support at all the events that happen through out the year from hearing readers, taking part in 'Belonging Day', to going on school trips with the children…far too many to mention but thank you.

On behalf of all members of staff at Harpenden Academy we wish you a very merry Christmas and happy holidays. We hope that you get to spend time with your families and loved ones over the Christmas break and that Father Christmas is kind to us all.
